Description
several years that trace an intimate human journey through love, loss, introspection, struggle, and renewed hope. The collection blends free verse and short poetic reflections, marked by emotional honesty and quiet depth.
The poems explore universal themes such as time, memory, absence, human relationships, and the search for meaning amid personal and global upheavals, including the experience of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each poem reads like a step forward in an inner journey—an attempt to go “miles farther” toward understanding, healing, and self-acceptance.
More than a simple poetry book, Miles Farther is an emotional map of lived experience, offering readers a space to recognize themselves and to feel that poetry can still guide, comfort, and illuminate the human soul.
