The Collapse of Israel from Within

"The Collapse of Israel from Within" by Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Messiri examines the internal factors potentially leading to the collapse of the Zionist entity. It starts with the emergence of Zionism in 17th century Europe, supported by Western colonial powers and Jewish communities for settlement in Palestine. The book discusses Zionist prophecies and unfulfilled expectations, the imperialist roots of the Zionist state, and its reliance on external support, particularly from the U.S.
Al-Messiri highlights challenges within Israeli society such as military service evasion, secularization, and ideological erosion, fueled by consumerism and a shift towards Western lifestyles. Despite these internal issues, the author argues against the likelihood of an internal collapse of Israel, citing its external support, societal transparency, and institutional robustness, which allow it to adapt and confront challenges. The final chapters explore the historical parallels between Zionism and other ideological movements and question the sustainability of the Zionist project amidst internal and external pressures.
