On 28 February 2026, children in Minab left for school and never returned. An attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School killed 156 people, including 120 pupils. They Only Went to School is a documentary account of loss, memory, and the human cost of war. Through testimony and images, it preserves the stories of those who must not be forgotten and affirms every child’s right to life and education.
