Maher and the Magic Mobile Phone” tells the story of a smart and hardworking boy who moves with his family to a new city in Algeria. Feeling lonely, Maher befriends two boys who negatively influence him and make him ignore his studies. One day, Maher finds a strange old mobile phone that turns out to be magical and offers him three wishes. Instead of using it wisely to learn, Maher uses the wishes to complete his homework and school projects without effort.
As he becomes more dependent on the magic phone, Maher stops studying altogether. During exams, he gets into trouble when his answers match those of his classmates, and the teacher suspects cheating. Maher realizes his mistake, destroys the phone, and promises to work hard, stay responsible, and avoid bad company.
