الوصف
Military Cyberspace Strategies explores the growing role of cyberspace as a critical domain of modern defence and national security. The book examines emerging cyber threats, cyberattacks on military and civilian infrastructure, and the technologies and strategies developed to prevent, detect, and mitigate them.
Emphasizing the importance of information superiority, innovation, and public-private collaboration, it discusses how governments, defence organizations, and the technology sector can work together to build resilient and adaptive cybersecurity capabilities. Individual chapters review the attack vectors and threat actors at work in cyberspace, the offensive and defensive strategies used against them, and the technologies now reshaping the field: artificial intelligence, cloud computing, reconnaissance drones, high power microwave systems, robotic soldiers, cyber command centres, tracking areas, radio interferometry and the fight against fake news.
Written by Dr. Imadeldin Elsayed Elmutasim of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Malaysia, and supported by an extensive bibliography, the book also looks ahead to the emerging technologies and the new vulnerabilities they may introduce, offering a forward-looking perspective on securing an increasingly interconnected digital world.
