Déterminisme du dépérissement forestier en milieu méditerranéen

Le travail de terrain a été réalisé sur 25 placettes expérimentales comprenant environ 450 individus, afin d’évaluer l’état sanitaire des peuplements et d’identifier les facteurs impliqués dans le processus de dépérissement.
Les résultats mettent en évidence que le dépérissement du Cyprès vert résulte d’une interaction complexe entre facteurs abiotiques (sécheresse, stress climatique, conditions édaphiques) et facteurs biotiques (insectes ravageurs et agents pathogènes). Cette recherche contribue ainsi à une meilleure compréhension des dynamiques de vulnérabilité des écosystèmes forestiers méditerranéens et propose des éléments d’analyse utiles pour l’élaboration de stratégies de gestion durable des forêts en Algérie.
